Privacy at a glance
RemindMe is designed around calm planning and personal privacy. All reminder schedules are calculated locally on your phone. We do not sell your personal data, track your location, or embed third-party advertising SDKs.
1. What Information We Collect
To deliver accurate reminders and ensure account synchronization when cloud mode is enabled, RemindMe processes the following data:
- Account Information: Full name, email address, and encrypted credentials managed via Supabase Auth.
- Activity Schedules: Titles, descriptions (up to 300 characters), recurrence rules, start dates, and time configurations.
- Reminder Events: Event logs (presented, done, snoozed, dismissed, emergency exit) queued locally and uploaded to sync status metrics.
- Device Preferences: Theme and language selection stored locally on your device.
2. Required Android Permissions
RemindMe requests specific Android permissions strictly to deliver alarms on time. We do not use these permissions for telemetry or surveillance.

3. Data Storage & Security Controls
Your personal records are guarded using modern infrastructure security standards:
- Row-Level Security (RLS): Cloud data access is restricted at the database level to your specific authenticated user ID.
- Local Cache: Schedules are cached on your phone for full offline functionality.
- No Advertising or Trackers: RemindMe does not incorporate third-party analytics SDKs, ad networks, location tracking, or contact scrapers.
- Local Alarms: Reminders are triggered by local system alarms, not remote push services.
4. Data Management & Rights
You retain total ownership over your data. You can edit, pause, or permanently delete any activity within the app. Active local preferences remain stored until application cache is cleared.
